A few things I think. Firstly I've been logging all my training in the training blog which has meant I can keep to mileage targets every week. I've been trying to step it up to 40 mpw. Secondly, we have a good training group at my club these days with a few people faster than I am which means I get pushed in every session.

Also, I always run better in winter because the cooler weather suits me.

Just found out I have a "new" PB!!!

A race I thought was 9.8km is actually well measured at 10km!!!
Happy me because the last PB dated from last century Also because it was achieved on my favourite road race.

New PB: 34'02''
Date: 25.04.2005
Location: Corrida da Liberdade - Lisbon

Old PB: 34'21'' in 1998 - Hereford 10K - England

I'm doing my first 10K on 12 May in Ivybridge. Hoping to finish in around 60 mins - there is a steep hill but otherwise I think its mostly flat.

I would be...if they had one. But the Somerset Series only has Senior Ladies, LV35, LV45, LV55 etc. So I'm racing against young whipper snappers of 35 and 36.... and still I get 4th

Well done Trinity. Just knew you'd do it after that fast 16 miler of yours.
Cheers!
