I only got this coz I was somehow convinced that my PB was 42:58, and that was what I was trying to beat... felt gutted at the finish...until someone told me that I had actually beat my PB by over 2 minutes! Just goes to show how powerful the mind is over the body.

Comments: Torrential rain made this hilly course slippy in places, so I was surprised to PB. Well organised race, hats off to the marshalls standing around in that for over an hour.

I'm not Dan, doing the Aviemore Half on the 15th. First time it has been held and it has been full since July. Very popular as the course skirts round the cairngorms.
You doing the GNR? What you been up to recently? I will be watching it on the telly.

Yep, I'm giving it a shot. Not a PB course though due to the crowds.

I did the North of England road relays in Hartlepool last week - a seriously good quality field there. Other than that just been doing local stuff.
