A blatent plug...

If anyone fancies a trip to the South West of Ireland, you might like to try the Bay Run - a half marathon from Glengarriff to Bantry on 4th May. It's a bit hilly but the scenery is spectacular. Only drawback is the entry fee - €55, which seems to be a lot more than equivalent events in the UK.

I am sure that it's a very nice event but I doubt I'll do it. I live in France and am doing more mainland european events.

Next up, marathon de Futuroscope, Poitiers, France in May, two months off then the Ironman Antwerp, after that we'll see

Thanks for the reply Andy (aka Heapofcroy)

I was hoping to combine future holidays with a half marathon or marathon. Have you done any that you'd recommend?
