I think you were being way too hard on yourself - glad you're a bit happier about it all now. A pb is a pb, and it's not like you just shaved a couple of seconds off, either.

the one year i ran the half at stratford i ran 1:34 i think.... as usual it was hottt... and i hadnt warmed up properly... and i had to stop for a pee.... so 1:27 aint bad going by me!

its easy to be hard on yourself
(I PB'd the marathon but not pleased with how i ran it)
so take on board the +ve comments.

Thanks everyone... starting to smile more and more about it now with everyones positive comments I'm currently working on my training schedule to help me break 1:25:00 on October 5th. I'm going with a combination of schedules with my own added twist to allow things to fit in with my working week and other commitments.
