I don`t know about you Granty,but I think I might need a bit of luck,or the wind on my back to get a decent time.

How is everyone holding up? Just working out what time I will have to leave the house tomorrow and writing my emergency contact details on the back of my race number. I'm just going to put out my race kit and put my orthotics into my running shoes.

I managed to set a new PB today - knocking 11 minutes off my Plymouth Hoe time. I'm absolutely cream crackered and I would never have done it if someone from Tamar trotters (huge local running club) hadn't been pushing me for the last 3.5 miles.

How did the boys do?

My gun time was 2:10 and by my watch it was 2:06 so we'll have to wait to see but I'm chuffed whatever the chip time as it's a new PB like you SE, hopefully knocked off 12 minutes from last time.

What time did you get ?

PS - must be getting fitter I guess, managed not to have to go to bed for the entire afternoon

I had to have a afternoon nap - found it really difficult to eat afterwards total loss of appetite and felt nauseous.

Waiting for my offical time to be posted on the web but it was around 1:45

My offical time just been posted 1:43;16 - slightly faster than I thought woo hoo.

It's a great feeling to know that you've completed it - did my first last weekend too. Great times you clocked as well

Just had a look at the result page wish i'd had a go myself as the slowest was 2.34 so i don't think i would have been last. (Did 8 miles in 1hr 50 today) He was over 70 though but good on him!
