Grantys right, you didn`t need to keep it to yourself.....

It wasn`t me you saw in the race, I was wearing black shirt and shorts, and for the first time ever I wore sunglasses to run in.

I agree with you about the course,it was nice to be on the country roads and running through the villages.

I suspect you did beat me and Granty, how fast did you run ?

Why don't we see if as many of us as possible can enter the same 1/2m later in the year. Somewhere not too far for a lot of us to travel.

I'll throw a race into the hat to consider.....St Neots 1/2m (Cambs/Beds border) in November 2007. Undulating course but not too bad....it can't be as that's where I got my pb. It's a well organised race but the 1200 entries go quickly..... have a look at www.riverside-runners.org.uk

It's a 2 hour drive for me to get there....about as far as you'd want to travel I think.

If this is a goer a separate thread may be called for.

Do you do a full English breakfast??

Sounds like a good idea to me Steve.
How about a "runners forum series"?

That's an idea to consider HF.

As you know I don't do breakfast!

I'd invite people along to The Scores race in Lowestoft in September but it's only 4.75m (with 400 plus steps to climb) and therefore too short a race for most to want to do the travelling for.

That does sound like a good idea, almost like a forum meet which was discussed a while ago.

I'm certainly prepared to drive a couple of hours to get somewhere.
