Hampton Court 10k september 30th

Hi All,
Did anyone take part in the above race? I am questioning the length of the race, I did not feel like it was fully 10k. Can anyone help who ran it? Its driving me crazy as I don't want to claim a PB unless it was! But I just feel that it was TOO large an improvement (and it was on grass....)

I've never entered it, but I seem to remember last year people said it was less than 9km in length - a bit short, but very nice all the same... did they have the string quartet there again?

Didnt see that. Hopefully someone on this forum will have entered and had a GPS device or something that can verify the distance. It was definitely longer than 9k, it "felt" like about 9.5k based on my time. But I really have trouble believing I beat my previous PB by 2mins58seconds when most of the run was on grass and my PB was on road.

If you can remember the route you can plot it out on the following site:

Google for gmap-pedometer - I can't post urls yet.

..it has a good level of zoom for the Hampton Court area, switch to satellite view and click away. That should give you a fairly accurate idea of the distance.
