Weekend plans 18-19th March

What's everyone up to?

A slow plod around Ashby 20 for me on Sunday, recovering from a niggling thigh problem and trying to get my mileage up so best not to push it even if I was able!!

Probably a bit of Commonwealth Games viewing too at some point.

0.00 miles this week
242.75 miles this year
I'm still recovering from the marathon last Sunday so was going to have a gentle 6 on Saturday. However, my club's half marathon is on Sunday (Hogweed Hilly Half) and they are planning a gentle run over the course on Saturday for any club runners who want to do it so we can mark where the mile markers need to go. So I thought, so long as I take it easy on the hills I could do that

I'm not running Sunday ....I can hear you gasp in horror

Coz it's my birthday on Sunday and my children will be insisting that I stay home so they can shower me with cards and prezzies

Double today - 4miles into work, and at least 4miles home.
Tomorrow - 8-10miles run

All at steady aerobic pace

Was supposed to do do a steady 4 miler this morning but as I've not been out much lately due to a nasty cold I'm giving it a miss in order to hopefully be fit enough for a slow 12 miles tomorrow morning.

Completed the little race yesterday and then the 19 miler today - not particularly looking forward to next week's 21 mile race now!

I was due to go on my long run, but have been struggling with a god awful cold for the last week.
I hate not been able to get out!!
