Hi people!
On the 17th of March there is this event happening in my town, a mile run organized by Sport Relief. As I have recently started to run (consider me a complete beginner) and made only a basic training which is still in its early stages, i am quite thrilled to get out with more people in an event such as that.

Has anybody done it before? Is there any basic tips as to how to run a mile, or is the thing just flat out simple that does not deserve even a second thought? Can you tell me your views please? thanks!
