Interesting!
First off, solutions4feet is a local and privately owned business so automatically it gets my approval! Even if a chain or the internet can sell you a pair of trainers for £10 less (I am not saying that solutions4feet are more expensive, just making a point), to me that is not worth the personal and supportive nature of buying from a private local business, especially when one like solutions4feet is so friendly, helpful, honest, and just a good atmosphere... too many "big boys" put out of business the small guys (in all retail areas), and supporting the smaller business is something I feel strongly about.
Rather than give you my results, as lets be honest, it means nothing to you, what I gained from this was an understanding of my running mechanics, and also an issue I have when cycling that I never have an issue with when running, so I have never linked them, were linked today and made alot of sense.
I do have various issues due to my history (4 years ago I badly shattered my right leg with a 180 degree dislocation of the ankle and near compound fracture from my tib exiting the bottom of my foot) and it was nice just to see and understand how that has an effect on my running, and what I need to concentrate on doing to minimise the effect of my "gimpness"...
I do see physios regularly, but this process today allowed me to see the action, the issues, and make sense of the multitude of information I have had previously.
Certainly if you do have niggles, recurring injuries, issues, or any sort of problem with your running, then this process is worthwhile. To be honest, for £30 as the offer is at the moment, if you like me, like the techie analytical side of life, then its worth having done for shits and giggles just to get an idea of the mechanics of you running
Glad I went, and will be sorting out some new trainers through solutions4feet rather than some chain........
