Taper or not?
I don't think my planned week is ideal....4.5m today, 5ish tomorrow, speedwork, 5ish, Thursday and 20mish Friday....then Summer Solstice run Sat am 3:49, 5ish again, sunrises here on east coast...then the 10k Sat evening!!

That's quite the taper!
I'm feeling like death today, managed to develop a cracking cold over the weekend. Hopefully speedwork for me tonight (400m repeats), club run tomorrow (~8mi), gym/rest weds... rest thurs (was expecting 8mi with club, but suddenly remembered it's my Dad's b'day!), easy 4-5mi on friday. 10k on Sat @ Glooston  |

While we're getting our excuses in...
I have a slight injury 
pulled a muscle on the side of my calf on Saturday during a recce for my leg of the Cotswold Way Relay... so having to rest and hope at the moment |
