It was a small social, considering how much interest there was in it to start with... in fact it was Dan who suggested that it include a summer race, on a Saturday, but he wasn't even there in the end

My sat nav decided to take me the scenic route home... maybe it was something I said in the McD car park but anyway I figured out it's cunning plan before I left the M6 for the A46, and disobeyed instruction. Mrs Sat Nav then realised the game was up and brought me home on a much more sensible M42 and M5 and I got home about midnight

Sounds like it was fun

Awesome results, all. Hope you remembered to rehydrate extensively afterwards

I did a race over here in Poland; a night marathon (well, 500M longer than a 1/2 marathon for some reason...) Finished 18th place, in 1:34:43 (first non-Pole ) Clocked 1:32:09 at the 1/2-mara point, so a PB either way Awesome race!

btw, who on earth changed the smiley?!

10pm, Dave. So people were still running the full marathon at ~3am Sunday morning :eek: Will have to take their word for it though; I was long since in bed at that point

ah, but at least we were passing people all the way... until that little whippersnapper outsprinted me at the finish... didn't even look old enough to be running! I blame the parents!
