Set off on beach, heading West until reaching Dunsborough. Coastline changes from sand to mainly rocks, so headed inland on Caves Road. Now moving south, parallel to the western-most coast of Australia. Finished today (so far) near to Wilyabrup.

5 tonight, beautiful and warm. My first trip back out since Sunday's race. The streets were alive with runners tonight.

Sorry Toesy, didn't see your edit. I'm going to do an update tomorrow. Haven't really had the time to recce the route out in "Oz". From what I've seen though, there's a lot of boring-looking miles ahead. As we hit the South coast the coastline seems to be very rocky, with long stretches of cliffs. There don't appear to be many towns, just very long stretches of empty roads... miles and miles and miles...

Still heading South on Caves Road, passing small coastal town of Gracetown

Taking a left onto Carter Road, crossing Burnside Road onto McQueen Road. Then down into the large town of Margaret River.

16 miles further South then start on the long trek East along the South coast.
We're currently in the middle of a great big nowhere. Only 22 more miles 'til we reach the Nannup Winery.
