Not doing anything and not expecting anything and not investing in a single ounce of happiness expected from people : that's is true happiness - for me .

1. My mum's home cooking.
2. Going to see my favourite bands in concert.
3. Having a good training session, either a run or in the gym.
4. Going to my Saturday morning guitar lesson - a fun way to start the weekend.
5. Payday - it gives me the means to pay for the things I enjoy (see 2 and 4 above).

My girlfriend saying I'm sure you'll win, even though I know that I haven't got a hope in hell of running a sub 30 minute 10k YET!

When I'm out on my roller skis and instead of getting pelted with abuse and stones I over hear kids saying that's cool and I want a pair of them for my birthday.

When I have a good training session.
Running in the Brecon Beacons, on a nice warm day, being absolutely dwarfed by nature and realising this is why I run.

The feeling of freedom you get when freewheeling down a hill on a bike, on an empty road or skiing down an empty piste, on a sunny day. I may even shout "wheeeeeeeeeeee" when doing so

Spending proper quality time with the people I love.

The fabulous feeling of being out in the beautiful countryside just after dawn on a sunny morning, when no-one else is around and the world feels fresh and glorious.

Smiling at someone who's harrassed and clearly having a bad day, and seeing them smile back.

Oooh cruel. I agree with you being a Cricket fan ofcourse, but in truth the worst that Australia ever did to the world was 1, to invent the lawnmower and 2 to offer us Fosters or XXXX to drink while we're using them...Now those two actions alone are enough.

Hey I just thought of another reason to be cheerful. It's raining, thus I'm unable to use Australia's gift to the world. The mower shall remain in the shed and I'll celebrate St George's day with a pint of warm sour Spitfire Ale.
Have fun

It's a bit cheesy but my family, especially when my 19 month old daughter says "wove ooo daady tiss" melts my heat and brings me out in the biggest smile.

Crisp spring/autum mornings.

Snow, I love it brings out the child in me everytime.

Blissful daydreams make me happy and carefree.

Being out shooting with my dog. Even more so when I have taking the day off work to do it.
