Running Equipment

I am soon to compete in a 10k run and would like some advice regarding running watches. I am not looking to spend too much money but would like a decent watch with relatively basic functions, however I would like one to show how far I have travelled and in what time. I am continually jogging but not really knowing how far and in how long!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks

Hi Adam,
Welcome to the forum!

Have a look in the watches review section on the site. There are lots of watches in there with a wide range of prices

I reviewed this watch Click here to read it For £23 it does everything I need it to do.

O.

Just get yourself a cheap stopwatch with large numbers to read at a quick glance and use mapmyrun to measure your runs. This method works very well, is very accurate and a lot cheaper than any of these fancy satellite watches.
