Congrats on your PB Mr Simkiss

Did it take you longer to write your report than it did to run the race??

I think you were being way too hard on yourself - glad you're a bit happier about it all now. A pb is a pb, and it's not like you just shaved a couple of seconds off, either.

Well done

the one year i ran the half at stratford i ran 1:34 i think.... as usual it was hottt... and i hadnt warmed up properly... and i had to stop for a pee.... so 1:27 aint bad going by me!

its easy to be hard on yourself
(I PB'd the marathon but not pleased with how i ran it)
so take on board the +ve comments.

Great result Richard, like the others have said give yourself a massive pat on the back

Thanks everyone... starting to smile more and more about it now with everyones positive comments I'm currently working on my training schedule to help me break 1:25:00 on October 5th. I'm going with a combination of schedules with my own added twist to allow things to fit in with my working week and other commitments.
