Foam rollers

I start my marathon programme this week (hoping my knee is ok after a few days rest) and i thought it might be beneficial if i bought a foam roller, ive just been looking and noticed there are different sizes, anyone know what is the best size to get?

Yeah, The Grid is the one. It hurts like Hell, but it does the job.

My grid roller doesn't hurt with full body weight on one part of the leg at a time, but I have been using mine regular every day for about 3 years

That's cool Danny, they are the best you can get, plus the shop is my coach's but I don't get commission or anything but thought I'd post the link anyway

I use a standard one and it works perfectly, it is suggested if you've not used one before to use a solid foam one first then progress to the grid type. The normal one hurt like hell to start with, now its a doddle with full weight on. use the runners-world videos as a good guide to get the most benefit.
