sounds good to me, either 5k or 10k from October on. Missed out on the last social due to work so count me in. ( any course near a bus stop would be good )

Hmmm... I can't seem to find many/any dual distance races - the only one that comes up is the Lady Godiva Half Marathon (coventry) in October (19th)... 13.1 miles and there's a 2mile fun-run... otherwise we'd be looking at March 2009 I think!

Of course that's if we aim for a dual distance event... Would any of those who ideally want a 5k consider a 10k? or any of those wanting a 10k or 1/2mara consider travelling a 5k event? Or do people have any thoughts on the Godiva half & fun-run in October?

Wouldn't catching a bus to do the race be considered cheating?

There is a 15 mile/7.5 mile in Diss, Norfolk on 28 September. I can't go because I will be undoing all my good work at Oktoberfest in Munich!

Actually, changed my mind, anything 10 miles or below or maybe a half-marathon if everyone else wants that

Have to say travelling for a 5k wouldn't really do it for me.
