I'm not sure if it would would work but is there any chance we could put teams together for the Hairy Haggis Relay as part of the Edinburgh Marathon. Just a thought....

PS. I'm not sure of the actual logistics of it but it just seems like an idea worth throwing into the ring? I know I'm kinda biased. For a charity or otherwise...

For what it's worth I'd guess the title is yours already unless your royal friends pull off some amazing signings. IMO you just have better players. For what it's worth I'm not one of the (hopefully) few jambos with the "without bus fare" tag" . My main concern is our friends at E.R..

Actually..... I was considering running the marathon on my own but not sure so.... if anyone would consider a shot at putting together a relay team from this forum let me know- I would be willing to organise- just for fun or for charity of your choice...

Ye, really like the idea of getting a relay team setup for the Edinburgh relay. I personally will be planning on running the full shabang but if there are enough to setup a relay team (4 people per team) then I think it is a good plan!
I don't mind even if the first social isnt until next year but I would like to keep the ball rolling as I think it would be a great thing to do.

This year was setup in to (if I remember correctly) 7miles, 7miles, 8miles and 4 miles I think. I know the last leg was the shortest....

Wifey, friends and I are doing a duathlon relay in Loch Ness later this year, and I am looking forward to the whole celebrating at the end bit.

So the Haggis appeals to me!
