Change of Plan
Right guys- although I still think the hairy haggis team relay would be great, as I said on the Edinburgh Marathon thread I think I am going to take the plunge and enter the full marathon. I have spent most of today pondering it and I've now told you guys and my mum so I can't back out.
I still think a runners forum relay team would be a good idea so if people are still wanting to do this I will help out in any way I can.

If we don't have a relay team we can all run our own race and still meet up at the end I plan on running for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2009 since I ran for the RNLI this year.
So if we say this will be the second meet has anyone else any preferences on events for the first meet?

I'm going to be out of action for the next month or so, so I'm out of most things till I recover.

Me vain? Never! I suffer from chronic rhinitis which leads to acute sinitus so I'm going to have my nose taken apart repaired and put back together.

Only joshing. Sounds quite unpleasant actually although the end result should be worth it.

So long as I can breathe better and still see that handsome chap looking back at me when I look in the mirror in the morning I'll be happy as a pig in poop.

I'm not too sure as I've always unknowingly suffered it. The surgeon is going to remove about 50% of the tissue in each nostril so that should produce a massive improvement in air flow.

I suppose it depends how much you breathe through your nose running. You will probably find you have subconsciously compensated for it until now.

Is this still alive or dead in the water?
If alive - here are my prefs
1. Would you be interested in coming, either to run or spectate/cheer
Run
2. What dates can you do or not do. Date ranges and specific dates.
Variable
3. If running what type of race would you like, e.g. 5k, 10k
10K should suit most, not too short, not too long?
4. What day and time, e.g. monday, thursday, prefer evening, not sunday morning etc
Weekends
5. Where are you, and where would you be willing to travel to.
Preferably central belt of Scotland but could do anywhere
