How about a 1:50 half marathon in March? With February as a test run to see if you are going in the right direction.

The guy is running comrades. 1:50 should be doable as the mileage builds up.. Anyhow it is meant to be a challenge, therefore challenging

Bin it. If you are not enjoying the challenge it is pointless.
I challenge you to enjoy every run for the next two weeks. Doesn't matter how far or fast or how many, just that you get back to the house with a smile on your face. Why else run?

Challenge accepted mate......this is what it is all about "pushing the limits"
i obviously cant challenge myself so has anyone got a challenge for me for the london marathon??????
I didnt mention the comrades as just taking part and training for that is a challenge in itself...lol

I have beat my time for a 5 K , I did it in 32.21 .Mind you I was running on my treadmill ...so no other choice but to keep on running ......lol.However I was sure sweating , best workout I have had so far .So I now realize that I need to push myself .
