Christmas Runs...?

Is anyone taking part in a festive run...?

I have got two of these. 10th Dec - Christmas Pudding Run (10 mile) and 17th Dec - Turkey Trot (5 mile)

Now looking for anything to do with gravy and veggies, to complete a Christmas lunch.
These light hearted races look loads of fun, with runners dressing up in tinsel, santa outfits, etc.

'Go on it's Christmas', have some fun.....

Runningfox let me know about a Boxing Day run in Leeds which looks like a nice route. I think I'll give it a try.

Anyone in Merseyside might want to try the Santa Dash 4500 people racing dressed as Santa!

Me and the dog are doing the Santa Dash in Liverpool. We have both got our santa suits ironed and ready to go.

I'm probably going to have a go at the "Boxing Day Run", it's a nice little 3.2 mile cross country across some fields in Pirton, Hertfordshire. Sponsored by a local brewery they have their own beer brewed for specially for the race which is the momento.

I'm going to do the long run from the top of Courchevel to the bar at the bottom )

(If I'd been staying at home in South West London I would have raced BPTT 5km, then swum in the open air pool at Hampton... what a shame I won't be home - I will have to do that on New Year's Day instead!)

I've got a 10km run on 3rd December and another on the 13th January. This should make me keep training over Crimbo and not turn into a drunken slob. After 2nd 10km, I'm starting training for my first half marathon.

For me it's the 'Travellers 6' at Denby Dale on 17/12 then nothing on the books until the Meltham 10K 28/1/07.... and between times it's gonna be a very festive Christmas in the Dales and goodness knows what might happen when I get north of the border for Hogmanay!!!
Cheers!
