Not recently, I can vaguely remember that big yellow circular thing that moves across the sky!
The weather up here has been hideous and it has affected my training, heavy rain and high wind combos are not for running in
flakey

I do indeed hot foot. Odd thing as far as running goes though is that I only started in January, really determined to get to a respectable time what I didn't expect was to like it, but as a result of when I started, and I was determined, I find weather doesn't bother me. In fact sometimes I find really bad weather almost gives an extra kick. Anybody else find that ?

I think I gain more satisfaction when I've had a good run in bad weather although I may not always look forward to it.
If I am training for a specific race (not that I've taken part in many) my focus is far greater and as a result I do run in a better frame of mind regardless of the conditions.

I find that it depends on me as much as the weather. If I'm having a decent run it's almost irrelevant, and conditions that on another day might have been a real bind can add to the enjoyment of the run. Having said that the only conditions that I can't personally run in are indoors; I don't like treadmill running.

Hate running in strong wind. It affects breathing and balance.
Love the rain (as long as it's not horizontal!). Have had some of my best races in wet weather... Even thunderstorms.
Running on fresh snow (a rarity these days around here) has to be a favourite... especially when you're passing the panic and chaos stricken motorists, who seem to completely "lose it" when we get half an inch of the stuff!

I agree, rain's generally not bad, and snow would be pretty. Headwinds are annoying, but what are your feelings on running in direct, hot sunlight, Pedestrian? I find it quite hard

I used to hate running in very cold weather because of my asthma, but I would give anything to be able to run now
A runner should not hate to run in any condition but just be grateful that they can
I am having to face the fact of not being able to run anymore, whilst in a relationship with someone who can
It is so hard for me right now
Don't hate any part of your running because one day you may not be able to...so enjoy all of it

It really doesn't bother me that much, although there are limits of heat which I discovered this year whilst on holiday in Greece. I quite often run in the mid afternoon heat (defying the often hysterical consensus which advises otherwise). But this year I sort of "met my match" during what was an exceptional period of above-average temperatures. I set off for a run one afternoon and within 5 minutes knew that I was going to have to cut the run short. It was so hot (46 deg.C) that sweat was evaporating from my skin as fast as I was producing it, so that it wasn't able to gain any cooling effect from it. I just got hotter and hotter. Not a pleasant experience. Lesson learned. But that was an extreme example, and I'm usually quite happy to run for up to an hour in the "normal" Greek heat. I've certainly never encountered temperatures in this country that have deterred me from getting a run in. I never carry any sort of drink with me, and simply can't understand why I see so many people out running with water bottles in hand, even when the weather's not all that warm. Have these become some sort of runner's fashion accessory?

I really don't like the wind - I find it distracting and hard to relax or settle into a steady pace when it's really windy but I'm learning to deal with it by wrapping up properly and so on and acknowledging the exercise rather than criticising the weather. As for the sunny days, well, the most I've done in hot weather was 9 miles at 82 degrees a couple of summers ago and I found it really enioyable as long as I kept taking a sip of water every half mile or so and kept a cap on my head for shade. But the best for me has to be a neutral sort of day, not too cold with no wind, or a mild summer evening. I thought this last Autumn was one of the best ever.

That is HOT.
The "worst" I've run in was around 44ºC and that was a big challenge.
I like all sorts of weather.
But it depends on what run I have planned.
If I want to run some good 3.000m reps on the track in Lisbon and the wind is as much as Force 8 I don't like it.
But if I am just going for an 8 mile run in Shetland, not caring about pace..... Then I love to feel the wind, the snow being blown at 60mph at my face that it feels like tiny blades...
I love those "close encounters" with Nature's force.

I wouldn't say I hated any particular weather the most. My worst experiences of weather have always come as a result of being underprepared for the conditions.
Three runs spring to mind... and evening run in shorts and T-shirt that started freezing cold and got colder as it got darker... -1 when I finished and my joints were aching in the cold The other two were in the heat, one run in turkey where I just ran too far for what my body was capable of in the conditions and another in the peak of the british summer (not very warm then...lol) where I stupidly went running in swimming shorts (because they has a lining inside them) and 6 miles from home began to suffer with terrible chaffing between the legs, possibly the longest 6 miles i've ever done!

Yeah, I've tried running in swimming shorts, not good
I found Barcelona marathon hard, that was mid-20's I think, and I would just run out from under the shade of a building into a long, shallow up-hill stretch and feel my strength drain away...
I did a run once, when I ran to about 5 miles away from where I lived, fine, turned around, and the biggest, darkest, eeeevilest cloud I ever saw was sat firmly over the return route  It started hailing so heavily that I had to take cover under a tree! Still fun tho
I think there's a South Pole marathon, that would be interesting...
