Yep, it was a struggle to get round the Expo in such a short tiime . . everybody including the people working there were so friendly . .

I picked up a pair of NB 1061's for about £50!!

Almost everything's a little stiff this morning though, as we sit up in bed tap tap tapping away on the lap top

Thanks everyone... suffice to say that everything hurts today, but that's the price of insufficient training I guess.

It's a gorgeous day here, and it's going to be so tough to leave it behind this afternoon. But I've still got to go and get a couple of things to bring back for my kids so the last minute retail therapy will help

Have a good day everyone... I'll try and bring some sunshine home with me

Great achievement, well done. Don't think I'll ever be that fit. Enjoy the shopping, have a good trip back......think you should ask for an upgrade!

Home again... back to dull, cold, damp UK

Bagpuss... I did kind of ask but not specifically. Rich and I ended up being moved and having a line of 3 seats each, which at least meant we were able to lie down and sleep during the 8 hour flight.

Miami is so "old news" now..................

(I'm sure your legs agree)

So..............

How many weeks until FLM?

And what time are you aiming for?

Harsh, but fair!

I'll be disappointed if you've not been out training since your return Trinity!

Steve... Moi? training the week after a marathon?! Nope.... I don't do silly things like that.

Thanks Granty...

Hollywood...Sadly, Miami is old news now so what's next....

Weeeeell, erm... a while ago when I was feeling positive and reckless, or should that be positively reckless, I kind of entered a incy wincy little.... erm <<whispers>> ultra
...and then I sort of forgot about it.
It's in about 3 weeks time and is 35 miles (Draycot) but there is the option of dropping down to the marathon...plus the option of not going at all of course...which is very much an option because I do want to be on the start line of FLM this year.

I don't know... I'm just going to see how my leg recovers for a week or so, continue with treatment from my sports therapist and take it from there I guess.

I went back to work today and have been on my feet most of the day. Now my 'injury leg' is aching, which tells me that I need to take it easy for a few more days yet.

The important race now is FLM especially as there will be a number of us there which will give us the chance to put faces to names...could be interesting!

Take some time out for now...still plenty of time to train for FLM and you do have a good base behind you.

I hope to run this next year, I might come along this time and offer support, could be interesting to see who's who as they go by.
