I'm back in the 10-12 mile club with 12.62 miles this week. Just think, if I did them all together it would be nearly a half marathon! Now there's a thought. I'm not even going to think about doing that though. I just want to get the Blaydon done and out of the way and I think I can then enjoy the other races.

I've skipped today's long run, which I will do tomorrow instead. Feeling a bit low on energy, so will get a good nights kip tonight.

10.85 miles run this week though, which included an interval session, 5 miles at marathon pace and an easy 5km yesterday.

15.5 miles this week, mainly thanks to 5 miles yesterday and 8miles today. Not much running midweek due to some travelling, but did manage to squeeze in a couple of gym sessions as well as the running.

I've snuck in with 12.92 this week - fairly consistent and included a 7+ miles run yesterday which I loved!

I've avoided the park for the past few days due to the wind. Its bad enough there on a normal day.

14.28 miles based on three runs so far this week. A 5k at marathon pace on Tuesday, a 10km race on Thursday which measured in at 6.18 miles, and 5 miles very easy today.

I could still feel the 10km race in my legs despite resting yesterday, so ran very slowly today. The shin splints play up a bit in the first couple of miles, but a quick stretch sorted it out.

Just sticking my head in this thread - been extremely busy lately and posting on forums had to go to the bottom of my priority list All good though

Had about 10 days off after last 5k race, and had a bit of time away with new lady.

Started running again this week, first run was tough, rusty, 5k. Tried a 5 miler yesterday lunchtime and had to abort at just over 5k due to heat and a nasty hill - was totally blown out.

Tried an evening run today and did 8.3 miles, taking my weekly mileage to just under 15, the most I have done in a long time, and the 8.3 is also the longest for a long time too.

The 10 days off really did me good, I think. Not sure if I will make this thread this coming week, as is totally busy again, but who knows - maybe a 10.1 miler next weekend if I can't squeeze anything in during the week

Happy running

Good to see you in this thread despite being run off your feet.

Fingers crossed you make it here next week, somehow.

After a lousy run one day this week when the 3 miles became just 2, I'm just into this thread this week. Next week I may not make it as I've got a race on Thursday - but we'll see!!

I had that (aborted run) this week too, seems to be a lot of it around. Good luck with your race and see in this thread next week maybe
