What's everyone up to this weekend? Who's racing? What training sessions have you got planned?

would have been doing stamford 30k if all had gone to plan, but a gentle 6 or 7 rehabilitation is on the cards.

13.1 miles (mainly on footpaths) in the bag but I'm still feeling like a newbie around here.

Stamford 30k race today. Ache a bit now, but very pleased with 2h 27, I was aiming for 2h 30 as I've not really run this far before.

26.2 RRC Valentine's 10k. Good race, dreadful weather, 2min PB. Happy days.

I did the Wokingham half, but woke up not in the mood for a race. Went anyway, ran the first 7 or so on target for PB, got fed up, wet and miserable, let go of the pace and went back and pulled someone else round who was struggling.
Finished in 1.43, which included a bit of 'sheep-dogging' so ran a little further than everyone else

Well organised race, brave marshals standing out in carp weather, nice medal, but boring course, sorry Wokingham...I won't be back
