Looks like there will be a word record attempt at this event today...

Kenenisa Bekele will bid to break the two-mile indoor world record at Saturday's Norwich Union Grand Prix.

The Ethiopian is targeting compatriot Haile Gebrselassie's time of eight minutes 4.69 seconds, set on the same track in Birmingham three years ago.
