I have tried various socks, vaseline, surgical spirit etc, you name it I tried it, even running after 5 mins or so, I can 'feel' the hardness of this 'support' on the inside of the arch. As I now need to run 4 times a week for while, I really just think I'm not going to be able to do it without a different strategy.
I currently have a Compeed plaster over the area and this allows me to get upto about 4 miles but any more than that and I'm in pain.
Money is no object to me, it's the misus that has a problem with it
I'll buy her a mars tonight and approach the subject and report back
