Is it just me or does Brendan Foster get on everyone else's nerves? This morning as Tracey Morris finished 4th in the marathon at Melbourne he said "...2 years ago she was a fun runner".

I suggest he reads http://www.valleystriders.org.uk/tracey.htm for some better information. She ran for Wales 20 years ago, and although she might have had 10 years off from competative running, to describe someone who 4 years ago could do a sub-37 min 10k as a "fun runner" is insulting in the least.

Still, better a fun runner than a fat runner eh Bren?

Agreed! I was thinking the same thing. She always had talent, she just took a break from running for a few years.

Did anyone see that bloke from St Helena? Credit to him for putting in a good time on his first marathon at 45, on only 30 miles a week as well apparently.
