That's the spirit
I run on Thursday night without gloves and came back with frozen fingers. I could see my gloves all the time, but they tend to disappear when I need them.

I actually prefer to run in the rain and wind. Not only is it invigorating but I tend not to notice the miles because of the battling through the weather. As for clothing I just wear a pair of shorts and a high wicking T shirt. Who says Southerners are soft

Well, I've just finished work and been out for my run. Its dark, wet and rainy but I actually quite like it like that. As One Eyed Runner says, its invigorating and, as a big part of one of my runs is on back roads, the solitude is quite stress-relieving...

I'm ready for my tea now.. fish and chips.

(mmmm... fattening... as Homer would say)

I don't run in the winter any more. Join a gym! I enjoy my weights as much as running.

Nowt better than a long run in the cold than to come back and enjoy a nice mug of steamy liquid chocolate from hotel chocolat mmmm, or so I've recently discovered. A good reason to get out there if you ask me!!
