Hmmmm 'tis a strange one... Would be nice if a few new members came along... I can imagine people thinking they'd feel a bit left out as those who've been on the forum a bit longer seem to 'know each other' a bit better... when in reality the majority of us have never met outside the cyberspace that is runnersforum!

I'd been umming and arring about whether to change a few plans to make it possible to attend - but thinkin about it, it's something different, and a chance to meet 'new' people with a similar interest - so why not eh? Put me down as a definate and it'll force me to get my entry in the post.

(mine will be by post too Trin... I'll save every penny I can at every opportunity... today I walked from my desk to the canteen (2mins away) rather than the vending machine (20secs away) to save 6p on a can of orange juice

Come on newly arrived runnersforumites... you are most welcome to join the pardy, and you don't have to race if you don't want to...in fact, having a support group would be great too!

You are right, ishould come and would love to. We once went to a forum Xmas party and have never had so much fun.

Problem is it is a long way and it is a bank holiday. One of the few chances I get to do something meaningful to the house which we are still trying to get habitable

So I hope you will accept my apologies on this occasion. And maybe I can make the next one.
