Haile Gebrselassie breaks Half Marathon World Record

Haile Gebrselassie of Ethiopia ran 58:55 for the half marathon on Sunday at P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon and Half-Marathon in Phoenix, besting the existing world record in the event by 21 seconds.

I agree...always a great buzz when it's an olympic event etc. But then again....there are times when its advertised even then that an attempt will be made on the WR and it's even more exciting!

I'm looking forward to the flm mens race this year - we could see a WR through racing which would be great.

Nope, not a documentary, a proper Hollywood movie, ,with 8 actors running part of FLM 2006. Apparently the storyline is about how people from diff. walks of life end up doing the same thing etc etc yawn.
