Smile Restless legs!!!!

Hi everyone

All I seem to do is ask questions!!!

Hope this doesn't sound silly, but, does anyone have what I can only describe as restless legs when they retire for the evening? When I go to bed my legs start to get very restless and I was wondering was it because of the running I am now doing and my poor wee pins are not used to such work!!!!
Thanks

This is a common problem...with me anyway!

If I do a mid-distance run or a hard session in the evening it takes forever to get my legs feeling normal again...despite stretching and rubbing them. I end up going to bed later than normal and wait until my legs have recovered.

Keep meaning to be brave enough to have an ice cold bath which would probably assist.

I get that too. My legs get really tingly and I spend my evenings after a long run stretching and tensing my muscles every few mins.

Of course it does mean you have done a good session and have worked hard.

Cool showers aren't the same...you need the all over body shock of a cold bath to get the proper effect...so I'm told.

My legs drive me mad at night. I find that sleeping with a pillow between my legs helps.
