Grim

Have just entered this - anybody heard of it or done it before? It's very similar to Hellrunner which I believe is held at a couple of locations in the UK. It's an "8 mile off road challenge" but it looks fab. It's held on an army base in Aldershot in Hampshire where they train the tank drivers. Waist high muddy water in early December. Can't wait!

From the website :

This land is used to test Army vehicles so expect it to be interesting! You will reach a long hill shortly after the start before descending again eventually reaching a water filled ravine. You will run on over puddle-strewn paths before having to crawl under camouflage netting. You'll eventually reach some man-made mounds before arriving at and running through some rather large puddles. Expect to get very wet! You'll run on to the fast vehicle driving circuit where it is rocky underfoot. This brings you to some more large areas of water and the finish area.

Hats off, Cheryl, you are insane

Have run it on three occasions, winning it once. Cracking event, run on sandy and stony trails, with the odd run through ponds/water traps which can sometimes go up to your waist. A couple of cargo nets thrown in for good measure too, would recommend anyone has a go.
