Looking for a good podiatrist in Leeds

Hi, I'm not a runner anymore but I have a chronic inflamation of both Achilles tendos probably caused by the Hauglund Syndrome (calcifications at the back of the ankles), which is killing me. I've had it for more than 10 years and never been able to treat it properly. Been told that the only option at this advanced stage is surgery by an orthopedic, but an Italian podiatrist has suggested to try with a multi-pronged approach of shock wave terapy, insoles made to measure and suitable shoes.
I'm looking for a good podiatrist in the Leeds / West Yorkshire area who could help me.
Sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm Italian and trying to translate medical language.
Thanks for your help

I don't live in Leeds but I found my podiatrist through my local running shop.

That's interesting Summerfield I'm looking to relocate back to the North and I'd like a second opinion on my orthotics as all the muscles on my left side still get much tigher than on my right.

I think I have the same problem, but I do not have the option of a local running shop as I'm on the Isle of Wight. I've got a physio appointment, so I'll see what they say. Till then It's just cycling I guess.

I was on the Isle of Wight last weekend - did think of you runnerman - where do you normally get your running shoes then? A friends of mine lives in East Cowes he has a friend on the Island who is a podiatrist.
