shoe recommendation for concrete after aches

I am 33 years old man writing from Turkey..I find this site while surfing in internet..
I am running in concrete ground for 3 months and for last one month I make a daily routine of exercise...Recently I have an ache on my left slight downside of my patella..After some research in Internet I concluded that it is because the concrete surface effect..I renewed my shoes by a runner shoe New Balance 768..But the ache doubled now the same problem with my right leg..
Today I learned that infact what I shall look for is not running shoes but the best cushioned shoe not running shoe specifically..
In conclusion what I am looking for is the shoe recommendation used for running on concrete...Please keep in mind that I have no other choice than running on concrete and I run for fitness not for race..My number 1 priority is not speed but to have routine running on concrete for my health and fitness(1.84 m 91 kg)
Any help will be appreciated..Sorry for bad English
Note:you can also tell me the keywords that I shall search in internet for am shoe type..Thank you..

Hi there.

First well done on your English, it is very good.

I am no expert but could it be the shoes you have bought are wrong for you. In the UK we can go to specialist shops who will advise on the right type of shoe. Do you have this in Turkey.

As to the Internet hopefully someone will be along who can offer some advise.

Cheers

Giles

Thank you Giles for the feedback.
First of all we dont have such specialist shops in Turkey..So I shall do my own evaluation and decide what to buy myself no way around...
What is unfortunate is that when I search for running on concrete shoes..I have the impression that noone is running on concrete or noone running on concrete has anyhting on internet so that I can understand how to find the proper shoes..Last I may not know what to search because I dont know enough terminology..
One friend of mine adviced me to buy Reebok DMX cushioned shoes..That will absorb the impact of concrete but my final decision is to act after proper research...Because I dont want to make another mistake due to acting quickly..

Hi Anka, your english is great

Did you go from not running at all to now running every day? A lot of aches are caused by doing too much running, maybe you could try running 3-4 times a week and do more when you are ready?

For shoes, it could be that your feet have high arches, or that your foot rolls inwards a little bit. A lot of peoples' feet do this, it causes similar aches. It might be good to try and find stability shoes, and see if they feel more comfortable. A few keywords are Stability or Pronation.

hope that helps!

Take a look at Sorbothane inserts. I have problems in my right leg after an accident that shattered my leg and ankle and left me on crutches for 9 months (obviously not a running injury!), and I now use sobothane inserts in my Mizuno waves (which I had been advised to get to help with my leg after a gait test) to help with the impact from running on concrete.

HTH

PS) Your English is far far better than my Turkish!

Katten,my english become better if I can not find proper shoes
I started to run from a walking Routine...And then increased the time and frequency of my running exercise(in weekends 2 sessionne in the morning the other in the afternoon)..I was determined to run and for my health and fitness..
The route is concrete a park near our house the route is uphill and downhill..
My mistake was for sure I didnt use proper shoe..I did run excessively...

My todays research says the best shoe that I can use on road on concrete is Asics Gel kayano and Adidas Supernova..
And I find this comparison chart that make everything in my mind more confusing at the end of the day..Sometimes excessive information makes one confused and one fails what to decide...http://www.wasatchrunningcenter.com/shoes.htm

Which one is what I shall look for..I dont know..

LIGHT

NEUTRAL

LIGHT

STABILITY

NEUTRAL

CUSHIONING

Anyway I will go on tomorrow..Thanks for all helps..

That is exactly what is happening at the moment. His list included everytype of of shoe available and he has no idea how to narrow it down. I was simply trying to give him a very basic method of at least doing a small check which might point in the right direction. Its got to be better than getting motion control if they arent needed.

Apologies MM, no offence meant. I was just being flippant.... As usual.
Bad habit of mine, I'm afraid.
