Now this may be a bit of old wives tale but isn't it possible for your face to swell up from the wind getting into a broken tooth?

A broken tooth would stop me from doing anything except feeling sorry for myself! Ring a dentist- you shouldn't have to wait more than 6 months for an appointment, which will give you plenty of time to arrange a second mortgage on your property to pay for it...

I've a piece of tooth bigger than the rock on SWMBO's wedding ring...well actually that wouldn't be difficult ...but it is say half the size of your small finger's nail!

Oddly little pain as yet...where there's no sense and all that!!

Wind/cold air in my mouth is the problem.

Steve you could run with a scarf or one of those things Gore make. That way your breath will be warmer by the time it reaches your tooth less pain job done run on!
Either that or load up on pain killers before you go, those will have the added advantage of you not being able to feel any pain in your legs so you will be able to run for even longer!

Gore Face Warmer II Only £14.99

Ok you'll look a bit like Doctor Lector, but your tooth might not hurt as much.

Some of the regular phrases you'd hear from team mates used to make me laugh, most of the time they never made any sense whatsoever.
