Have you been doing some strengthening exercises - are your inners quads a bit weaker? I would spend some time getting used to your orthotics walking around the house and when you can comfortably wear them all day I gradually start introducing some running into your walking e.g. 1 min walk, 1 min run - 2 min walk, 3 min run, 1 min walk, 5 min run etc until you can run comfortably for 30 mins, then 40 mins, then 50 mins and finally 1 hrs.
