Shin pain and lump

Hi all, first time poster so hope everyone here is cool!

I'm after some advice on a problem that has started over the last couple of weeks, basically when I'm around 15 mins or so into a run I get a slight burning sensation and pain in my right shin, this leads me to believe I have shin splints.

Along with that I have a fleshy (poss fluid) to the touch lump on my shin which when squeezed gives me a slight "pins and needles" feeling in my foot.

I've never noticed the lump before so I'm pretty sure it's connected, I'm just after some advice on what it could be and how to get rid of it if poss.

All help welcome.

Russ

Hi Russ, welcome to the forum

I suggest you see a GP about your weird lump; it's probably fluid of some sort, I'd imagine, a GP should be able to sort this out pretty easily

Hi Russell

Welcome to RF.

It does sound like shin splints that will require rest as for the lump like katten says see your doctor.

Hope all is fixed soon.

TT
