Just to let you know my knee is still sore, but it on a bone on the inside of my knee, it;s better when I take painkillers, but not sore at all while walking or standing about (as I am on my feet all day at work).
It is still sore after sitting for a period and I get up.
Now not to excue myself but before I started running my knees were a bit iffiy
stiff sometimes and would get pain for days then it would clear up.
So I dont know if for sure running has caused the pain, or not having enough rest days has caused it.
I'm still not running on it and will give it time to clear, thanks for all the helpfull advice.
