4x Tesco Value Wheat Biscuits (Cheapo Weetabix), with plenty of Soya Milk and a tablespoon of honey.
Glass of OJ (forgot to add calories on from that)
Glass of water
Big Mug of Coffee
Big Mug of Peppermint Tea
Big Mug of Blackberry & Nettle Tea
Tesco Fruit Bar (Cheapo Nutri Grain) (forgot to add cals)
Chicken with a white sauce, peas and sweetcorn.
Bowl of Mushroom Soup. (again forgot the cals from that! lol)

New total cals... 984 (approx) - still a lot to go to reach my recommended amount! I don't usually forgot to add so many things on

i find it hard to comsume all my intake also.

Richard you drink a lot of tea

I had so far

Bowl of 100% wholegrain shredded wheat with ss milk 218 cals
10 cracker breads with thin butter (clover) 19 cals each with butter i add 6cals each one so 250 cals
One Nutrigrain bar 130 cals
bag of monster munch (spin offs asda own brand) 108 cals
2 satsumas 25 each 50 cals
1 small ruffle bar 130 cals

Total 886 cals

Please note some sugary snacks and savory in my diet

I like to eat like a bird and pick throughout the day, so any recommendations for new foods please help... i dont really like to eat bread as it bulks me out.

Normally i eat more fruit but i ran out so only got satsumas today.

and thats all generally what i eat during day, i have ate a little more today because i got speed work this evening, but generally i go gym lunch time too, which i have not today, as i already been everyday this week and ran.

Tuesdays and Thursdays is club runs so when i get in at 8 i have something quick because i dont want to lay on something heavy, so i generally have toast with beans and maybe a egg too.

Other nights i have fish and veg and jacket potato.

And with tea (one a night) i have a biscuit.

I am sorry about your diet granty, like you i have lost weight and still think i would like to loose more .. or for me its a case of more toning up... i have noticed a bit of difference since running but not loads, have you not lost inches Granty instead of pounds ???

Did you measure yourself before and after ???

In the last 3 weeks I lost 10 pounds... god knows why. I don't usually weigh myself (thus 3 weeks between weigh-ins...) and quite frankly I was appalled at the amount of weight I'd lost! I hadn't noticed getting any slimmer (although since then putting on some of my fitted clothes I can definitely see and feel the difference)!

I'm guessing what with doing around 26 miles a week running, 5-8miles of which is either a tempo or intervals, this is probably why I've lost a lot of weight... my diet is very boring... same every day, which is why I know it's not food. Each day I eat:

cup of camomile, honey and vanilla tea
A bowl of kellogs bran flakes with semi skimmed milk
a banana
cup of coffee with smatter of green milk
ham and mustard sarny on granary bread (sometimes ham and hot salsa)
apple
orange
fruit and nut alpen bar OR muller rice (YUM!)
regular dinner food, like salmon and veg, stiry fry, sweet potatoes with pesto and kidney bean filling, spag bol, chilli, chicken with a ton of veg and pesto with a bit of pasta... etc etc, you get the idea
Sometimes have a few squares of dark chocolate after a run, and always a cup of nesquik
Drink a few cups of water on it's own during the day.

So yeah, no idea how many calories that is heh... obviously not enough. Mind you, after I weighed myself I spent the next couple of days eating out - and instead of trying to pick the really healthy options, I just went straight of anything that had chips LOL! Weighed myself again last night, and I was the same!! Anyway, I guess I'm not too sad about it - I'm going to weigh myself every week now to make sure I don't lose anymore weight now, I'm only 8st 7 now, and for 5'2" that's fine... but it's not, cuz I'm built like a tank - that weight to me is quite low.

Good diet almost, its not enough no, but i cannot shout either.

I have been a weight watchers gold member since 2000 so i guess i am stuck in counting mode.

Hard to just let yourself go a bit and have a bit of what you fancy.

I am 5ft 6 and 9 stone, i know i have issues because i still see myself different to how i look in the flesh.

Keep up good work almost.

Yeah, like I said in the other thread - I think I look weird, and sometimes I still see myself as though I were still 12.5 stone! But to be honest I don't see how I could eat more - I don't feel tired and I get full as it is... I like to graze really, maybe then I could eat more, but then my daily schedule isn't exactly ripe for such eating habits. Not to sound ungrateful, but right now I'm not trying to lose weight - when I have tried in the past it's just been infuriating because nothing happens.

Anyway, back on topic - there's only a couple of a good words of advice on this I can give, and that's A be painfully honest with yourself... if you're not losing weight, don't make excuses about how much you're eating and how much exercise you're doing - you're only hurting yourself; and B moderation is key. There's no point completely cutting out foods you love, if you starve yourself you'll only end up binging and undoing all the good work you've done. Exercise some self control sometimes. If you know you have none, ask a partner to! Heh.

(Leece, out of curiosity, could you estimate how much my calorific intake is? Just so I can maybe add another couple of appropriate snacks if it's toooo low, thanks!)

Almost my calculation on the previous page is without my evening meal, i calculated your intake and your roughly comsuming about 1300 cals a day, your supposed to have 2000 as a woman .. of course i dont know portion sizes but i am calculating what you had as if i was eating it.

Of course on top of that you exercise loads, you roughly burn 100 cals a mile (i do 90, as my watch says)

So your are having under what your supposed to. BUT as you said your happy with the way you are.

I think the same as you, i eat things in moderation also, i love to graze too.

I am one to talk as i dont eat enough, but if i ate more i would be eating all day

Right well I don't eat huge portions obviously, so if I want to stop losing weight then I should atleast eat like 500 (because I'm fairly sure I must have a slow metabolism if I'm not tired on the 1300 I'm eating) more calories. Hrmmm... what to eat... can't think of anything I don't eat that I wanna add though Maybe have a more stodgy breakfast... and... hrmm... HELP!

If you're not eating enough and can't work out how to eat more, why not try having a little splurge at the weekend rather than forcing yourself to add a bit each day when you don't want to?

I used to do Weightwatchers and found that I really didn't like eating the right number of points each day - I was making myself eat things I didn't want, which really wasn't helping me get my head in the right place when it came to food. So I ate a bit less, saved up more points than I was supposed to for the weekend, and then had something like fish and chips, or a pizza, or a big roast dinner or something, with plenty wine, on a Sunday.

I don't do Weightwatchers any more, but still take the same approach. I'm still losing weight - but then I'm bound to as I've got so much to lose.

I like the idea of pizza.. mmm... I don't like drinking that much anymore. I used to drink glass of wine almost every day but haven't in a couple months... maybe I'll do that again.

BUT I don't hugely like the idea of not eating much during the week and then binging at the weekend... it might work with helping me not lose so much weight, but psychologically... meh.

I still use the weight watchers diet theory Bag but the diet has changed since i was doing it even.

Think its more complicated now

Not using all your points can make you not lose points too so you have to make sure your eating enough for your body to burn fuel throughout the day.

If not it just stores fat.

I do have a little more at the weekends but i do a long run on the sunday to make up for it.

LOL @ Rich but would you enjoy it or would your inner thoughts say "you shouldnt of had that"

Its different if you really enjoy something but if you splash out on cals and dont enjoy it, its horrible.

I got Cadburys creme eggs in the cupboard still they talk to me.

HA! Delusions!

I really do love pizza... one time a couple years ago I ate a WHOLE 14 inch schawerma chicken pizza, in one go!!! I couldn't do that now at all though, I hate feeling like my belly is going to pop! But as leece said... it's not nice when you regret something, makes it not worth it.
