Nothing better than being out running and seeing a ponytail come swishing towards you.
Makes me put a bit more effort in lol

I have fairly long hair. Generally I tie it back in a messy little bun, similar to what I used to do in my dance classes. Then I use this little stretchy headband to keep stray hairs from falling on to my forehead and sticking to the sweat.

I tie back and use one of those funny headbands from Claire's
Shark Teeth flexicombs apparently.
They are cheap, last for ages and keep hair off my face!

I have longish hair and just keep it off my face, usually with a bright pink leopard print headband - also helps people see me coming

I only plait my hair when I go skiing - I find even a ponytail gets tangled in a long day's skiing.

Excellent - a fellow runner/skier! I wear a helmet so I just plait it underneath - thats for ski-ing not running!!!!
I have similarly just below shoulder length... I am running so often now i am showering/washing hair daily - so I just let it dry naturally so it isnt smooth shiny, it has a bit of staying power, then i just tug it through a band in a knot pretty much! Alice band type things are useful if you have annoying wisps which go in your eyes! I have tried bandanas - but if there is the slightest bit of wind, i end up running after it (and you dont want your head to over-heat!)

A fairly high ponytail for me- have lots of hair (just below shoulder length) so having it loose or a low ponytail makes the back of my neck too hot. I've come to quite like the swishing! In winter, I really suffer from cold ears so I wear a headband thing too- that helps keep the stray bits under control.
