Sports bras - impossible! - Page 3

Midlands born and bred... though i've moved around within the midlands a bit. Pa's from Wolverhampton, Ma's from Brum, I was born in Stafford, moved to Stratford at young age (3-4yrs) then moved in with the other half over in Warwick (/Leam) 6 months ago.

Hoorah, tis always nice to "meet" a fellow midlander! I'm an exile in the south now, although we seem to be slowly edging north. I don't think I'm going to drag my Man of Kent any further though. He's already finding the air a bit thin up here in the northern wastes that are Buckinghamshire!

I get all my undies there - either in person, or from their website, and they will almost certainly always carry stock in her size. They certainly always have my size in (38F, so not that dissimilar) and they go up to well above hers!

Bravissimo are great, nice catalogue too. We have used them and Natural Collection, they are really cheap for everyday bras.

Do you not find bras are like trainers. You must really get them measured properly. I made Mrs Hrun go and she was shocked to find she was 2 cup sizes bigger than she reckoned. Cost me 70 quid in posh bras but now her back ache is better and we can shop online.

Oh yes. I went to Rigby and Peller (posh undies shop) to get my wedding undies a few years ago - thought I'd treat myself for once. I discovered I'd been wearing bras 3 back sizes too big and 2 cup sizes too small :eek:

Twas magical - no more underwires digging into my armpits, better posture and new-found gravity-defying-ness. Hmmmm, sorry, was that a bit too much information?

I understand. Mrs Hruns basque cost £180 so she could wear a strapless wedding dress last October.

Mind you at 18st 4 I had breasts that would have made some women jealous :eek: They are reducing slowly with the rest of me.
