Mooncup

I use one of these and I just thought I'd praise its merits to the long-distance girls- one less thing to worry about if you're going to be out for several hours, and they're really comfy. Wouldn't go back.

The only time I've ever seen these advertised before is at music festivals...

I've seriously considered getting one of these before..... it's such a simple and good idea.......but when it actually comes down to it, I just can't.......

My old landlady thought I used them - I have no idea why!! I don't know if she found something else in the bathroom and thought it was one of those (it might have belonged to her other lodger though)! I didn't even know what they were before I googled it after she asked me to advise her friend about what they are like!

It sounds interesting - but I would just be paranoid about it falling out and making a mess!

I use one too.

I first tried it about 3 or 4 years ago, when on a skiing holiday. Made life soooooooo much easier - no having to take tampons up the mountain and struggle to change them while wearing ski boots and salopettes

I wouldn't be without mine now. I'll certainly never go back to tampons.

SB - I've never had one fall out - I can't see how it could happen, tbh. The only slight problem I had was when doing yoga on a heavy day - it did, erm, spill a bit. But I just make sure, now, that I empty it before doing yoga.

Without putting too fine a point on it, SB, unless you've got a whatsit like a windsock, it's far less likely to fall out than a tampon!
