Paula Radcliffe did, if you are used to running then is should be ok for a few months but I would get checked out by your Doctor first or better midwife, when the time arrives.
Good luck trying I am sure it will be fun

Still probably a good idea to check with your GP or midwife once you become pregnant.
All the best with your attempts, if at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again

Good luck chrissy,
Sorry to sound like your hubby, but check with the pros. Paula did and others do but every one is different. Don't take chances

I was first beaten by a woman runner years ago, then I got beaten by a lady veteran, then a couple of years ago I was flying down to the finish in a fell race when I was passed by a young lady cheered on by the crowd - One shouted to her 'Jean should you be running?' 'Yes' came the reply 'The baby's not due for another 6 weeks!'
Exit one very chastened male runner!

My sister in law ran at the gym while pregnant till she was quite far on. Midwife said it was ok as long as she didn't over do it.

My cousin ran the London marathon 4 months pregnant, but she has always been an active runner (PE teacher)
Like everybody else, I'd echo the advice to take advice from a professional, pregnancy is never easy, and if its your first I'm sure you will have far bigger things to worry about than keeping up running!
I remember when I was googling for running training tips a while ago I came across a page written by a woman who ran through her entire pregnancy... I'll see if I can look it up again

My cousin's girlfriend ran up to 18 weeks and carried on cycling virtually up to term- she'd been told she was fine to continue with any kind of exercise she already did, for as long as felt comfortable, but not to take up any new sports.
