This is the trouble with forums, simple things get twisted between threads. We all agreed (in Steve's absense it has to be said) that when he got to 500 posts it seemed only fair that he repay our faith and endurance when answering his daily questions with a beer token.

Or failing that, he could arrange a run somewhere central to us all and then go on a mass pub bender !!

That's how I remember the conversation going .........

The mind plays tricks...I'm sure it was the other way round..after all it's hard to think of a question everyday!

The idea of a RF run somewhere sometime is a good 'un...all wearing our new RF tops of course. Perhaps a weekend of running so as to make it worth the trip. One for Dan to consider maybe.

Mind you the thought of seeing Dave in his dress....

So long as he runs with something on I don't care

On a serious note, I think the idea of a mass runnersforum meet at some point in the future all wearing the new fab tops might be an good idea, obviously a bugger to plan etc but I reckon it'd be great.

Indeed it would be and a single run would probably not get enough people out..hence the idea of a running weekend.
There are already running weekends organised already so RF could "hijack" one and attend en masse so as to save RF having to organise.

Race.....great idea, but would have to be on a handicap system, compared to some of us mere moral tortoises, you 'seasoned' shifters would need to run a three legged race!

The handicap system could be based on alcohol intake the night before the race........

Race !!? - in only a few hours it gone from a casual Sunday afternoon meeting with a few beers to a race.

The more seasoned runners would have to be made to drink a good pints of Cider to even things up before the 'race' bagan.
