carb intake

Hi everyone
Im doing edinburgh marathon which will be my first.What would you recommend for eating in the last 24 hours leading up to the marathon to build up as much energy as poss.

I wouldn't take to much in on the eve of the race.
But on the two weeks leading to it, especially in the last one when you are resting a lot, I would take as much pasta, bread, fruit as the body asks for.
