Probably The Best MARATHON Book Available

If you are wondering what to do next after running London, take a bit of advice from a real expert. The book "Marathon" by Hal Higdon is by far the best read on the famous distance. Every aspect is coverd from training to eating to tapering and race analysis.

It is published by Rodale Press and the ISBN is 0-87596-159-2

I agree - Hal Higdon is king! I used his start up training progs which I downloaded from the web to start out when I ran it last year. Very very helpful for a newbie!

I've linked his website to mine, but you can find him on www.halhigdon.com

Yup, he sure is. I still know very little about running. But the little I do know I have gleaned from Hal Higdon. His training programmes are immensely helpful to newbies!
