    Hi Gareth,

    I saw your thread 'I love Garmin' the other day. My mate's garmin has packed it and he's looking at getting a reconditioned one like yours off garmin. If possible, could you send me a link or an email address to where you sent your message to garmin outlining your situation?

    It would be very much appreciated. Hope your achilles gets better soon. You're doing the right thing cross-training until it's sorted.

    Thanks for your words of encouragement in my posts! Just did my first EVER outdoor run and it was great fun! (but bloody hard!)

    How about 1000 miles in 2012, 750 is too easy for you, especially as you will be marathon training!!!

    That averages out at 19 miles per week??!!

    I have hit my 600 for this year now and think I will be on about 700 by the end of the year... What do you think????

    Will be back with a race report as soon as I can but prob not until Wed as Im whizzing straight off to Centre Parcs for a relax for a few days!!!

    Will at least let you know my time, will update on my phone somehow
