Suicide Six

My next competitive run is 'The Suicide Six-ish'. A well known muti-terrain 10k in the West Mids.

Anyone ever done this ?

Part of the course is to run across a river I am told !!!!
.

Yep, I've done it a few times, If it's been raining it can get quite interesting . good event, always sells out. despite having to cross a small river of over waist deep water

What a tuffy...
Great fun though. Flat out at water crossing (soaked) and the steps at the end are a night-mare. Can't wait for next year.

I once took the wrong route in a point to point coastal run and ended up trying to run in the sea with water up to my waist Not easy!
